The snow’s back. Again.
Feeling a bit artistic this afternoon and decided to try something a bit different. I kind of like the result, and I’d like to do more… But I don’t know what to write.
Finally, the weather is acting like it’s actually spring! Flowers are blossoming on all the trees and it’s rather pretty. With all the wind there’s been, though, I doubt they’ll last long.

Finally home again, after excessive amounts of bus rides. Grand Junction was great! So much great music from so many schools and my school’s band did pretty well, too.
Sunset last night through the mountains was stunning. If only I could have stopped to take more pictures…

On the way out to Grand Junction for a band festival! It was a long ride but some of the scenery was worth it. Who knew bus rides were good for photography?
Untouched, unnoticed, silent. Once-bright blossoms slowly wither and die in the lowlight. Dust settles softly, an un-intrusive end.
A ski run at Breckenridge, tucked deep within the trees, not to be found by anyone. Well, almost anyone.
Wait… what?
There’s nothing that can top an exhilarating hike up the side of a mountain, pushing through undergrowth and following a barely-there trail. And when you finally come over that last ridge, there’s nothing like the view at the top.

Hello Everyone!
I thought a pattern might be a good thing to share, considering the whole “crochet” part of my blog. This pencil case was the first pattern I ever came up with myself, and I think it turned out pretty nicely. The pattern doesn’t take much, and is a good way to use up some scraps from a previous project.
